Join us at the museum June 22 for a day-long extravaganza including a zine workshop, short film screenings, a family drag workshop, and a special pop-up exhibit featuring artifacts from The Matrix.
Queer creators have shaped some of pop culture’s most iconic visions of our shared future, and MoPOP is here to celebrate, honor, and share it all with you.
Event Schedule
- Drop-in Zine Workshop (11:00am–4:00pm)
- Shorts program screening in Sound and Vision Theater @ 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm
- Pop-up exhibition featuring artifacts from the Matrix series (will be on view starting 5/30)
- Queer Visions reading and resource list from Seattle Public Library and Seattle's LGBTQ+ Center
- Family Drag Workshop (noon–4:00pm, registration required)

Teaching artist and drag activist Sylvia O’Stayformore will guide youth and adult participants through a fabulous voyage of self-discovery, diving into dreams and visions while gathering the skills to achieve their own personal form of drag success.
